Starting therapy takes courage, and you’ve already taken an important step toward creating a calmer home and a healthier relationship with devices.
Between now and when we meet, I invite you to gently notice a few things:
What tends to trigger device-related tension — asking your child to switch off, transition, or pause
What your child does in those moments (their reactions, emotions, behaviours)
How you find yourself responding — even if it’s reactive, frustrated, or not how you hoped
There’s no right or wrong here. These observations simply help us understand your child’s patterns, your stress points, and where we can begin to create meaningful, sustainable change.
