What You Can Gain From Therapy
A calmer home, even during screen-time battles
Learn how to reduce arguments, ease transitions away from devices, and bring more peace into your home with strategies that help your child cope without meltdowns or negotiation.
Support that understands the reality of raising a child hooked on screens
Work with someone who gets how intense device-related behaviours can be — the resistance, the shutdowns, the emotional storms — and finally feel seen, understood, and supported.
A stronger, more connected relationship beyond the screen
Shift from disconnection and conflict to cooperation and trust. Discover how to reconnect with your child in ways that reduce their reliance on devices and strengthen your bond.
Confidence to guide with clarity, instead of second-guessing yourself
Build a toolkit that helps you set limits calmly, hold boundaries without battles, and respond to big reactions with steadiness — so device use no longer controls your home.
"Behind every great child is a parent pretty sure that they are screwing it up."

Hi, I’m Tamar, a psychologist who supports parents navigating the challenges of raising kids in a digital world. I work with parents who feel overwhelmed by device battles, worried about their child’s sleep, mood, or behaviour, and unsure how to create boundaries without constant conflict.
Like many parents, I’ve seen firsthand how fast technology has changed childhood, and how isolating it can feel when nothing you try seems to work. I believe therapy is about support, clarity, and finding practical ways to bring more peace back into your home.
That’s what led me here: helping parents feel confident again, rebuilding relationships one small, steady step at a time. I’ve spent years supporting parents through some of the hardest seasons of childhood and adolescence, and I’m deeply committed to creating a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.
If you’re ready to create calmer days, clearer boundaries, and a stronger relationship with your child, I’d love to help — feel free book a free consultation call.
GOT QUESTIONS?
I've got answers
It’s less about the hours and more about the impact. If screens cause daily arguments, meltdowns, sneaking behaviour, or your child struggles to stop without big emotions, or screens get in the way of school or socialising, that’s a sign they’re relying on devices in a way that’s affecting their wellbeing — and yours. You don’t need a diagnosis to get support; if it feels unmanageable, that’s enough.
No. The goal isn’t to remove devices — it’s to create healthier, more balanced habits. We focus on connection, communication, and steady boundaries, not punishment or cold-turkey approaches. Your child’s interests and needs matter, and any plan we create will be realistic, respectful, and sustainable.
Yes. Big reactions often happen when kids don’t yet have the skills to handle disappointment or transitions. I help you understand what’s driving these behaviours and teach you tools to reduce escalations, support emotional regulation, and feel more confident holding boundaries.
Most parents try to fix device issues by focusing on the device itself. I help you focus on the relationship, the patterns, and the underlying needs — which is where lasting change actually happens. You’ll learn a clear framework that reduces resistance, increases cooperation, and makes device use less of a battle.
You don't have to do this alone.
