Your child’s device use feels out of control.
In the group, we understand what’s driving your child's dependence on screens and give you practical, evidence-based strategies to bring calm, balance, and connection back into your home.

You dread taking the device away because of the fallout.
As a group, we explore strategies to stay calm, hold the line, and support your child to cope with disappointment and frustration.

You’re worried about the impact screens are having.
We work together to create a clear framework to support healthier device use and strengthen their emotional resilience.

You worry you’re losing your relationship to screens and stress.
We explore how to rebuild connection through small, meaningful moments so your child feels safer, more regulated, and less driven to escape into devices.

You feel alone, judged, or misunderstood by other parents or professionals.
In this group, you’re surrounded by parents who get it. You don’t have to defend your parenting or explain your child — you’re met with understanding and validation.

Screens trigger meltdowns, aggression, or shutdowns.
Together, we navigate these reactions with tools that reduce overwhelm, support emotional regulation, and make transitions away from devices smoother.

Hi, I’m Tamar, a psychologist who supports parents navigating the challenges of raising kids in a digital world. I work with parents who feel overwhelmed by device battles, worried about their child’s sleep, mood, or behaviour, and unsure how to create boundaries without constant conflict.
Like many parents, I’ve seen firsthand how fast technology has changed childhood, and how isolating it can feel when nothing you try seems to work. I’ve spent my entire career supporting young people with big emotions: first in residential care, then in education, and now in private practice.
Along the way, I’ve run dozens of parent groups and I’ve seen firsthand the power of being in a room (or Zoom) with other parents who get it. The relief, the normalisation, the “oh… it’s not just us.” Group support creates a kind of confidence and connection that individual sessions alone can’t always reach.
That’s what led me here: helping parents feel confident again, rebuilding relationships one small, steady step at a time. I’ve spent years supporting parents through some of the hardest seasons of childhood and adolescence, and I’m deeply committed to creating a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.
If you’re ready to step out of daily battles and towards a calmer, more connected home, I’d be honoured to walk that journey with you, alongside other parents who are right there too.
Why This Group Can Be Especially Effective
Parents are navigating healthy device usage almost universally.
That makes a group setting a powerful place to observe, reflect, and grow with others who understand.

You discover you're not alone
You realise quickly you’re not the only parent facing this. Hearing from other parents who “get it” creates insight and confidence you can’t get alone.

Accountability + Momentum
Being part of a group keeps you moving forward, even when things at home feel tough.

More affordable
You receive professional support at a lower cost, with the added benefit of peer learning.

Built-in support network
You’re learning alongside people who understand the emotional load. You gain practical ideas from families navigating the same issues.
GOT QUESTIONS?
I've got answers
It’s less about the hours and more about the impact. If screens cause daily arguments, meltdowns, sneaking behaviour, or your child struggles to stop without big emotions, or screens get in the way of school or socialising, that’s a sign they’re relying on devices in a way that’s affecting their wellbeing — and yours. You don’t need a diagnosis to get support; if it feels unmanageable, that’s enough.
Only if you want to. Many parents start by listening, and that’s completely okay. There is never any pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. Most parents naturally open up over time as they feel understood and supported.
No. The goal isn’t to remove devices — it’s to create healthier, more balanced habits. We focus on connection, communication, and steady boundaries, not punishment or cold-turkey approaches. Your child’s interests and needs matter, and any plan we create will be realistic, respectful, and sustainable.
In group therapy, you get the support of a psychologist and the powerful normalisation that comes from hearing other parents say, “Yes… we’re dealing with that too.” Parents often find group support more validating, less isolating, and rich with real-life insights and hope. It's often more affordable, too.
You don't have to do this alone.
